Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026
Agreement
By using CallPilots you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
The service
CallPilots forwards your unanswered business calls to a dedicated number, replies to callers by SMS, captures their job details, and shows them on your dashboard. You are responsible for setting up call forwarding on your own device.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the number and messaging only for legitimate business purposes and to comply with carrier and anti-spam regulations (including Australian A2P messaging rules). Misuse may result in suspension.
Your responsibility for contacting callers
CallPilots sends automated SMS messages to the people who call your business number, on your behalf and at your direction. You are the party responsible for those communications. You represent and warrant that:
- you have a lawful basis to send SMS to people who contact your business (including any consent required under the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), or equivalent laws in your customers' location);
- your messages accurately identify your business and offer a working way to opt out (we honour STOP/UNSUBSCRIBE replies automatically);
- you will not use the service to send unsolicited marketing, deceptive, or unlawful content.
You agree to indemnify and hold CallPilots harmless from any claims, fines, penalties, or losses arising from your use of the service in breach of these warranties or applicable law, including any complaint relating to messages sent to your callers.
Billing
Paid plans start after your free trial unless cancelled. Subscriptions renew monthly. You can cancel any time from your billing settings; access continues until the end of the paid period.
Availability & liability
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, except those that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. We work to keep the service running reliably but don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, or that every call or message will be captured or delivered.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for missed leads or losses caused by carrier issues, incorrect call-forwarding setup, AI misinterpretation of messages, or third-party outages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous month.
Intellectual property
CallPilots, including its software, branding, and content, is our property and protected by law. You may not copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the service. You keep ownership of your own business and lead data.
Changes & governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; continued use means you accept the changes. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
